Scavenger Hunt Bingo – 14ers Edition

A day on the trail can be a lengthy ordeal for some. If you aren’t comfortable in your own head, have little kids, want to add some competition or just need to break up the monotony of the switchbacks, add a little scavenger hunt bingo!

As a father of two, I’m always trying to make hiking more interesting for my kids. I want them to learn something about their surroundings too.

To make it interesting, add a prize. Winner gets free drinks, pizza, ice cream or whatever.

Here’s how to do it. Print off this example or make your own. They can fold up in your pocket for quick access. Throw a crayon in your pocket (don’t forget to take it out before the wash!) or use a sheet of stickers. I had some fun with this…hope you do too!
